Water Meter Reading
The Town of Moorcroft needs your help. With the recent snows, many of the water meters are covered in snow and not accessible for readings. Estimates are done when the public works department cannot access meters due to various reasons such as snow plowed coved meters or heavy snow covering the meters , etc. Estimated readings may cause the bills to be higher once the actual readings are caught up. We are asking customers to be diligent in making sure their meters are accessible for meter reads. Meters are generally read between the 18th-22nd of each month. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Town of Moorcroft at 756-3526.
The Town has installed a new drop box for a more secured option for using the depository box. Customers also have the option to sign up for auto payment. Automatic bank drafts are a convenient and paperless means of paying bills whereby funds are debited from your designated bank account for your utility bill. Customers are encouraged to call the Town Hall for further information for this option. There is no additional fee for this service. We do not accept credit card payments over the phone or at the window, however, you may pay online on the town's website. There is an additional fee for this service.
The Town would like to encourage all residents to sign up for the CodeRed Emergency Notification system to ensure all residents receive important information such as water shut offs, closures, emergency messages, etc. Please click on the link at the bottom of the page on our website to sign up for this free service. Please feel free to call if you have any questions or need assistance.
